Marketing Assistant
Agency 102 is hiring a part-time Marketing Assistant to support our team with content execution, quality control, and administrative tasks.
This is a hands-on support role for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently. You’ll play a key role in ensuring client-facing and Agency 102 brand work is accurate, polished, and executed on time.
What You’ll Do
- Proofread and quality-check marketing content (emails, social posts, direct mail, etc.) for accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency
- Schedule and publish social media content using tools like Buffer, Cloud Campaign, Hootsuite, and native platforms
- Support email marketing execution (Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.)
- Assist with research and backend support for client projects
- Pull basic reports, format documents, and help with light website updates
- Organize and manage files and assets in Google Drive
- Monitor and respond to reviews (e.g., Google Business Profile)
- Support administrative and ad hoc tasks as needed

Timeline: Initial 3-month engagement with potential for long-term extension - $25–$27/hour, based on experience
Workflow Expectations:
- Urgent tasks may require same-day turnaround during business hours
- Non-urgent work is typically expected within 24+ hours, depending on scope
- Work is largely asynchronous, with some collaboration during weekdays
What Success Looks Like:
- You complete tasks independently with minimal back-and-forth
- Client-facing work is accurate, polished, and delivered on time
- You proactively catch inconsistencies, typos, and missing details before anything goes live

Summer Marketing Intern
Still looking for a summer internship? Perfect. We’re still looking for a great intern.
Agency 102 is hiring a paid, part-time Marketing Intern to join us starting in June. This role is approximately 60% social media + content execution and 40% marketing admin + project support.
You’ll support our Content Marketing Specialists and account leads across multiple industries, including financial services, healthcare, technology, and consumer brands.
You’ll leave with portfolio pieces, real-world marketing experience, and a strong understanding of how an agency runs.
What You’ll Do:
(Tasks include, but are not limited to)
Schedule and publish social media content across platforms
Write and refine captions aligned with client brand voice
Design graphics and edit short-form videos using Canva and similar tools
Monitor comments, DMs, and online reviews and assist with response planning
Proofread and edit social, email, and website copy
Upload and update content in WordPress
Assist with website mockups and light backend updates
Conduct research on trends, competitors, and keywords
Draft short bios, organize media assets, and support internal presentations
You Could Be A Great Fit If You…
Are currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Love social media and digital marketing, but also enjoy the structure of project management
Catch typos that other people miss
Are comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment
Can manage 10–15 hours per week consistently (outside of your class schedule)
Are organized, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
Are based in the Baltimore / D.C. area (preferred) or able to work in Eastern Time
